IMPACT-DRIVEN CONCERT IDEA CHALLENGE FOR ARTISTS AND OTHER ACTOR
We believe in the transformative power of art on raising awareness of societal and environmental causes.
Hence, we challenge artists and other actors (e.g. tech companies) in the creative field to find ways to bring about new perspectives on the urgent global issues at hand through meaningful, thought-provoking, insightful, impact-driven, compelling and multidisciplinary art in our concerts.
The challenge for you is to think through creative out-of-the-box ways, how we can help to raise awareness of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals through the power of meaningful, compelling concert experiences.
"The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests."

In our concert productions, Bowplus aims at creating a space for creativity and exploration within the realm of art and aesthetics, finding new ways to approach problems and shed light on topical issues. We want to help artists to express their innate creative force freely with the aim of having a positive impact on people's lives and society.
In brief: tell us your idea of a creative viewpoint on the SDGs through artistic expression. We are eager to hear how you would use art and creativity in our concerts to open new perspectives on the immense global challenges, by impact-driven expression, and thereby envision how to foster positive change.
We are especially interested in works for chamber orchestra, but we are open to all ideas for different accompaniments as well as combining different art forms. In fact, your expressive ways can cover various artforms as well as modern technological means, such as XR/VR/AR, AI or electro-acoustic sounds, multisensory art experiences or visual storytelling. The performance can be immersive.

We are looking for imaginative, bold and wild ideas that explore the realms of out-of-the-box thinking, new channels of expression and importantly, convey meaningful high-quality and compelling content for the audience.
If your idea gains traction, we can start to discuss further on how to actualize it in the form of an interdisciplinary art experience. We provide you experience in arts administration, event production and full help and support meanwhile you strive for a positive impact through art.
